KURIOS' NEW HOME IN JASPER NATIONAL PARK
New home base in JASPER NATIONAL PARK
We moved to Jasper in fall, 2023, and now partner closely with the Jasper Park Baptist Church. We live in a newly renovated, 100 yr old home in the heart of Jasper, and learn and minister out of the church building right next door! Everything we need - groceries, medical care, incredible trails, and some great cups of coffee - is a short walk from our front door! We have an incredible place to call home.
Kurios is the only Christian gap year experience to have its home base in a Canadian National Park!
WILDFIRE IMPACT IN jASPER AND ON KURIOS
In late July, a massive wildfire spread throughout Jasper National Park which resulted in roughly 1/3 of the Jasper townsite being lost. We grieve with those who have lost their homes and businesses. Please pray for everyone who has been impacted.
We are grateful to report that the two facilities used by Kurios were not damaged by the fire: Jasper Park Baptist Church and our Kurios residence. We've been able to begin our 2024/25 year with full use of the facilities.
Please pray that God provides many opportunities for Kurios to demonstrate His love in the community as the long road to recovery begins.
